Just had my wedding here and couldn't speak more highly of the event planner Hattie and the staff that went out of their way to make sure everything was perfect! From making wine recommendations for the open bar to helping decorate the day of, they were there with me through every minute of the planning process. The pavilion is such a beautiful space during the day with the exquisite landscaping and craftsmanship, and it transforms into a charming space with cute lights and a rustic feel after dark. Highly recommend checking this place out, whether you're hosting an event or just want to try some wine (I recommend the Pinot noir)!

Love this place! The last couple of years we have had really welcoming experiences, and enjoy the wines. There is a good mix of sweeter wines typical to the area, but also a good balance of semi- and dryer wines. The "new" back patio and yard space is wonderful. Last year we enjoyed the music in the afternoon, and this year we enjoyed yoga on the patio. Both were so much fun and refreshing. The views are so beautiful as well. There are fun games, such as corn hole, to enjoy as well. There are tons of more fun events here that I hope to get to go to eventually. Treleaven is quickly rising to be one of our favorites!

Excellent selection of wines, fun, knowledge, professional staff. A very spacious tasting area. Would love to come back and also try the brews on our next visit.

A nice winery, with the friendliest staff. You get 6 wines for $5, your pick. To me, the Silver Lining Chardonnay and dry reds were stand outs. They also have beer in a tasting room next door, with a bar top they made themselves. I always have a fun time here.

I have not had the opportunity to visit this winery. But when I was in NYC I was at Washington Square Park where they had a farmers market going on. Treleaven Winery was there sampling their wines. I bought a bottle of their Guilded Lilly white table wine. It was one of the best bottles of wine I have ever had. I spent the rest of my trip trying to find more! When I got home I found the wine for sale on Amazon and order 6 bottles. When it came time to reorder, it was longer a...

I have been to Treleaven many times and every time has been fun. There have been a couple issues but, the staff worked quickly to resolve them. Movie night is great. Nice environment, good wines, friendly people.

  • *****

Very friendly staff and love the atmosphere! Love the family friendly options too. We'll definitely be back for more of their events!

We joined the premier club this past year which is a great deal. We love coming to all the events - outdoor concerts, football Sundays, trivia/ movie night. It's conveniently on the way to long point state park, so we can stop by on our way to/from boating. They also serve varieties of local beer on tap for those that aren't into wine. All the staff have been welcoming and extremely helpful with our baby and this is definitely the most family friendly winery I've been to in the finger lakes and we're so fortunate it's the closest to home!

In love with their Rieslings!! Semi-dry is the best. Great new set-up at the winery, as well. Would recommend 5/5!

Wow! First time here in about three or four years, this place is now going to be a regular visit. Great venue for bands and very relaxing. Wines are done well.

This was our first stop on our boat winery tour and it set the bar high for the others. They had our group of 12 all set up before we walked in and were so accommodating and patient with us. The wine was so delicious as were the beers we tried. Steffy was so so great and made our day! They showed us around a bit and were very informative. Very cool shop, we bought so wine and souvenirs on our way out.

We were camping nearby and decided to go to this winery. It was during the middle of the week, so there was only one other group there for a tasting, which I am sure allowed the staff to really devote a lot of time to us. Michelle was the staff person that assisted us, and she was incredibly patient and kind, and took the time to answer all of our questions and pointed out the wines that matched what we liked. She also mentioned that they have special events and fundraisers during the year, which made us wish that we lived closer. We especially liked that they have special wines that devoted part of the sales to the local ASPCA (Charlie is our favorite).

We enjoyed the wines and the experience so much that we signed up for their quarterly delivery.

Great service. The variety of different events they have is great. I especially love the trivia nights and yoga. Beautiful place to spend time drinking lovely wine.

Visited this winery that's just outside of Aurora. Wine tasting of six selections were $5 per person. They also had three craft beers on tap for tastings as well at no charge.
We ended up purchasing the Reserve Cabernet Franc for $27.99
It had pleasant floral notes with a nice smooth finish.
Quiet little winery but was happy to see a Childs area with small chairs and table, coloring books with crayons and storytime books.
    Pets welcome too.

Good Pinot. Post and beam pavilion is spot on. Good atmosphere. Bellisimo. Good breeze, even on a warm day. Good slushiest.

This place made for a nice tasting. The standout for me was their Gewurztraminer - a nice dry wine with a property finish.

This was an awesome tasting experience. Must go if your near by.

Good Music, beautiful views and nice folks to enjoy this fall festival

We came here for my bachelorette party as part of the Finger Lake's Experience!!! Stephy was an amazing tour guide. She was the perfect blend of educational with personality. She is an engineer by training, which I also loved!!! There is an amazing bar outside that I wished I could just hang out in all afternoon! Stephy also gave us a number of recommendations for dinner. The wine that we tasted here was great for the area.

Wonderful winery. Now they have beer as well. Great place on this side of the lake. They are super friendly and we are always looking for our friend who greets us. The Mystere is wonderful and we don't often leave without walking out with a case of wine.

  • *****

The tasting was great! Generous pours. The staff was very enthusiastic and knowledgeable about their wine.

I have stopped here a few times over the years for wine tastings and was happy to visit with their 100+ year old worker "Melvie" who is wonderful to talk to and sharp as a tack! Now, however, this place has just gotten better. They have been hosting bands and food trunks at times on the weekends over the past few years, however, they just built a beautiful pavilion and stage for outdoor events. I attended the Kings of Summer event this past weekend and loved it! There were 3 great bands, food trucks, wine tasting inside as well as wine, cider, and wine slushies available outside. The blue sky, white clouds, and country setting is just beautiful. Everyone was having a great time dancing, eating, drinking, and visiting with friends and neighbors. I cannot wait to go back!

  • *****

Very friendly vineyard! We were there for the sangria Sunday and I had the best sangria! Tasting menu was fun and reasonable. They also have a few beer tasting from Cortland beer co. We had a great time!

Custom bar for a pint. Great full body red's. Creative events with food trucks and live entertainment.

I visited this winery today for an impromptu tasting. My grown sons and daughter in law went with me. We had such a fun time. It was not a busy time and the pourer was able to take her time with us. She was fun, friendly, engaging, and even did magic tricks for us. She was able to answer all our wine questions. We left smiling with our purchases and plan to return for some special events. Awesome staff.

    UPDATE 12/10/2007:

After writing to the company explaining what had happened and expressing my disgruntlement with the experience at the Skanteateles shop, I recieved in the mail a few days later a package containing a new bottle of Mystere (with no floaty bits, I checked), and another, completely different kind of wine. I found this to be an excellent display of customer service and have amended my rating accordingly. BTW, the Mystere was sweet, but a rather fine, drinkable wine.

    Original post:

The motto for the King Ferry Winery is "Once Experienced, Never Forgotten". Oh how apropos that statement is.

We picked up a bottle of Mystere NV and I wish we had taken the man at the counter's advice against it. "Don't buy that", he says. "Its a very specific wine, sweet and dessert-y and most people don't like it."

Of course whenever someone tells me NOT to do something, is when I must do it.

Well, I really wish I had listened to him, because this wine was terrible! It had this thick sediment that was floating around in it and it had a sweetness all right, but it was mixed with a vinegary taste. This wine was turning! So I am peeved but there isn't much I can do about it now, since I am in the next state over and its a holiday.

So now I am aggravated that my stubbornness had gotten the best of me yet again, as well as to the guy that is selling wine he either doesn't know is turning to vinegar, or knows and just warns people not to buy it.

    erg.

What friendly winery! We had a great time tasting wine here. They are known for their Cabernets, which are quite good.

We stopped here yesterday on a trip through the Finger Lakes. We had a very nice tasting. The server was knowledgeable about the wines. We especially liked the white wines. They tasted fresh and earthy! We bought 3 bottles of wine, two Chardonnays and a red. Tasting was $4 each and we received a discount. It was a very nice tasting and would recommend a trip to Kings Ferry!

Visited several times to pick up some whites. Reserved Chardonnay and Gewurtztraminer are my pick from this place. Their Gewurtztraminer this year was drier than other places. Discount applies if you buy 3 bottles or more. Tasting room staff was very attentive, friendly and very knowledgeable.
No pets are allowed inside of tasting room.

i just love their chardonnay. i always stop there on my way to ithaca and pick a few bottles for home. i sample, of course, and all their wines are great. they have a nice staff, too, but the chardonnay... hhhmmmm....

I've been going to the winery for about five years now. Besides the amazing wine, the staff is superb! They've answered all of my questions and shared information on other Finger Lakes wines they thought I might also enjoy. Their Mystere and Gilded Lily wines are my favourites.

  • *****

One of our favorite finger lakes wineries. Their Chardonnay is one of the few I like. Nice selections, very friendly staff and owner. In the summer, their Friday night concerts are worth going to. Can't go wrong here.

We had a great experience at The Barrell a room.  We were a party of 12 and we made reservations before we came in for 5:30 pm on a Saturday evening. Place looks fantastic!  Travis our host did a great job describing and promoting the Treeleaven wines. Tasting was $4 for 6 generous tastings.  Bottle discounts the more you buy. I would recommend stopping and tasting a few wines. Great place and enjoyable wines.

6 tastings (of your choice) for $4, with a range from Chardonnay's, Whites, Reds, and Dessert wines.

The Barrel Room, is a wonderful winery and tasting room. The staff are very friendly. The wine is out of this world. They literally have something for everyone.
The barrel themed decor and art hanging on the wall gives off a homie feel.
The Friday night live music is also a great time with little finger food and glasses of wine or by the bottle.
    Definitely a must visit.
